Dear distinguished guests, speakers, moderators, ladies, and gentlemen

Welcome to the 125th anniversary of Changhua Christian Hospital's International Online Conference on "The Impact and Response of the Medical Professional Education in the Post-pandemic Era". Changhua Christian Hospital was founded by English Rev. C. Campbell Moody and Dr. David Landsborough III in 1896. After more than one hundred years of evolution and development, CCH has become the most historic medical center in central Taiwan. Upholding the spirits of Jesus Christ's selfless dedication and humble service, CCH continually strives for innovative medical research and outstanding medical quality in order to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Since 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted healthcare, education, working conditions, and so on. Nowadays, it is crucial to continuously uplift medical professionals' core competency skills through clinical training backed up by scientific, evidence-based approaches. This is the best practice to fulfill current global development and social needs. In order to respond to the pandemic, a crucial goal is to encourage medical professionals to apply creative innovations and the latest technologies to transform the traditional medical service to best combat COVID-19.

November 29th, 2021 is the 125th anniversary of CCH. CCH is honored to host this conference to celebrate its 125th anniversary. We invite experts from well-known universities, research institutions, and hospitals from Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, and the UK to share the experience in strategies and practices in medical education. We hope to guide medical educators in different countries to open up new directions for future development and foster exchanges between scholars.
